Fundamentos: A comunicação de resultados laboratoriais críticos é essencial para a segurança do paciente. Objetivos: Analisar desafios e melhorias na gestão da comunicação de resultados críticos em um laboratório clínico. Métodos: Estudo descritivo e comparativo com dados do primeiro semestre de 2024 e 2025. Resultados: Observou-se aumento no número de notificações e redução significativa das não conformidades. Conclusões: As melhorias implementadas contribuíram para maior segurança e efetividade do processo.
